[E] Experimental cooking
weekend is defined as days which i can wake up late and watch tv till the day ends. but last saturday, things were a little bit different when i watched Chef Wan in one of his tv program cooking Pindang, which reminds me of Mak’s rendang! i called Mak and asked her how to make Rendang Pedas Ayam ala Perak. i jotted down the ingredients and how to do it.. hoho~
so i went to the nearby shop to buy my groceries. i was fasting that day, so i started cooking the Rendang in the evening. it was very simple, but to cook during fasting is quite hard cause i cannot taste it! i used 3/4 of the whole chicken thinking that i wouldn’t have to cook for the whole week, hehe.. that’s what Mr.Fridge is for, right? on sunday, i made chicken wings bbq & potato salad. the bbq was a little bit burnt on the upper side and the potato salad was a bit sour coz i put too much vinegar.. haha!
well, my experimental cooking went all well. the rendang looked and taste good. so i think, cooking is not that hard if i have the determination and willingness to try. i admit, i am not good at cooking. my cooking hardly taste good. but don’t worry Win, i’ll polish my cooking skills so that i can cook delicious meals for you!
