[E] What should i do with the cash rebate?

i got my petrol rebate yesterday, in cash! i would suggest anyone living near Balakong to get their petrol rebate @ Jusco Cheras Selatan post office coz there is no big crowds like other post office i’ve been (UPM & Sg. Besi). it’s worth to queue and wait for it. 🙂 why don’t i register @ posonline.com.my and get my rebate banked in ? well, actually i did. but the system didn’t response and keep sending me errors on the server. huh~

ok now~ what should i do with my cash rebate?

  • use it for the petrol ?
    • i spend 5% to 8% from my salary for the petrol monthly. i dare not say that the petrol price is not burdening me, but it is still affordable (my office is only 13km away from home). sometimes, Win pays for the petrol.. 😀 so the rebate might be used for other purposes.
  • SO.. open an ASB account ?
    • this is what i’ve been thinking when i was queuing for my turn to get the rebate. i filled in the ASB form and planned to deposit the rebate cash in the new account. oooh, it’s gonna be my first investment! i was sooo excited~ but.. the teller said that i need a copy of my IC to open a new account (but i haven’t got any at that time). duh~ opening an ASB, canceled.
  • OR use it to get the car sprayed ?
    • yesss! this is a good idea~ Comot  (Comot is my car, it’s a 850 Kancil) looks so dull with current looks, the red color are turning grey. poor little Comot.. so i would like to get Comot a makeover. i am surveying for shops which can offer the best price for the makeover. suggestions.. anyone?
  • OR use it to go shopping ?
    • who wouldn’t? hahaha~ that’s what most of us do with the petrol rebate, don’t we?
  • BUT wait a minute… did i overspent ?

    • yes i did.. many things came up unplanned, so i have to pay this and that. my budget shows that the difference between my incomes and expenses is NEGATIVE.. in hundreds! i ‘accidentally’ used up my savings for the month.. sob2 😦 so i think, i should keep the cash rebate and ‘repay’ the savings i’ve used.

whatever.. i still keep the money. i don’t know what should i do with em.. huhu
